VIOLIN PROFESSOR
Adrien Modaffari

Adrien Modaffari took his first violin lesson when he was 8 and, at 11, he auditioned for Mr. Tibor Varga, who then accepted him into his class at his academy in Sion (Switzerland).

During his eight years of study, he has perfected himself, especially, under the influence of Mr. Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Mr. Victor Pikaisen, Mr. Raphaël Oleg, and Mr. Gabor Takàcs-Nagy.

In 2005, he joined the professional cycle in the violin class of Ms. Yolande Leroy at Lausanne College of Music (HEM) in Sion where he obtained his teaching diploma in 2010.

Anxious to adapt his teaching to younger students, he decided to learn the Suzuki method within the Suzuki European organization. Since 2015, he has also been a professor at the City Conservatory of Evian-les-Bains.

Passionate about the chamber music repertoire, Adrien Modaffari performs regularly at various cultural and musical events in Switzerland, and also in France, Italy, and Germany.
